Restaurant Server - Conanicut Marina Position Description The One Ferry Wharf Restaurant at the Conanicut Marina is looking for motivated individuals looking for growth and opportunity.
We're seeking an individual who believes in the importance of providing quality service with a smile.
Greet guests and answer all questions about the menu Accurate and prompt order taking Maintain a professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests and associates Prepare checks and collect payments following all policies and procedures Prepare dining area and beverages in accordance with prescribed procedures Timely delivering of all food and beverage orders The person we seek must be a team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Clean all spills and breakage immediately Remove dirty dishes, glasses, silverware and trash from occupied tables Clear empty tables of linens, dishes and debris and place them in proper areas Clean and restock service items Report all incidents of guest dissatisfaction to a manager/supervisor so that corrective measures may be taken Process, wash, dry, iron and fold linens and other items in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures Skills and Requirements Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.
Ability to satisfy the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction.
