Launch Driver Conanicut Yacht Club is a muti-generational, family centered club located in Jamestown, RI.
The Club provides members with a robust sailing culture and program, year-round dining services, a bustling racquets program as well as an active events calendar.
Summary of Position:
Oversee and assist with the waterfront activities at Conanicut Yacht Club and ferry members to and from their moored vessels.
Ideal candidates will be professional and have a service-oriented demeanor, communicating with members in a polite and helpful manner with a willingness to always lend a hand.
The waterfront/launch operations position includes but is not limited to the responsibilities listed below.
Key
Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily waterfront opening procedures.
Provide launch service to approximately 100 member vessels in a prompt and professional manner.
Responsible for daily waterfront opening and closing procedures.
Additional Duties:
Assisting with junior sailing programs when needed, and communicating all issues to management.
Employment Dates:
Mid-May through mid-October Compensation:
$20 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
Eligible for end of year gratuity fund.
